How do you feel about having a scholarship?
I feel happy and that I can realize one of my dreams. The educational scholarship has opened doors for me, like comradeship.
Before the scholarship, was it easy or hard to study?
It was difficult because I hadn’t been studying for 8 years and I was just working at home and in the fields and there weren’t opportunities.
How and in what [ways] has your life changed because of having a scholarship?
I have opportunities to work, to be a better person, [and] I will be able to help another person.
Vision: give classes at the university, provide a scholarship to another youth
Goals for 2019:
- Learn how to drive a car
- Help my friend in math and science
- Reforest, plant plants around the community center in June

¿Cómo se siente de tener una beca de estudio?
Me siento contento y que pueda realizar uno de mis sueños. La beca de estudio me ha abierto puertas como compañerismo.
¿Antes de la beca era fácil o difícil estudiar?
Era difícil porque tenía 8 años de no estudiar y solo era trabajar en mi casa y la milpa y no había oportunidades.
¿Cómo y en qué le ha cambiado la vida el tener una beca?
Tengo oportunidades de trabajo, ser mejor como persona, podré ayudar a otra persona.
Visión: dar clases en la universidad y becar a otro joven
Metas 2019:
- Aprender a manejar carro
- Ayudar a mi amigo en matemática y ciencia
- Reforestar, sembrar plantas alrededor en la comunal en junio
